Accountability
Corrections.
Getting a story right matters more than pretending it was never wrong.
What we correct
TAP corrects factual errors including wrong names, dates, figures, locations, descriptions, attributions or claims that are not supported by the cited evidence.
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not change meaning.
Material changes
If a correction changes a central fact, conclusion or important piece of context, TAP should add a clear note explaining what changed. Fast-moving stories may also be updated as new verified information becomes available.
How to flag an issue
Use the contact page for correction requests. Include the article URL, the statement you believe is wrong and a reliable source that supports the correction where possible.
What a correction is not
A disagreement with the TAP Perspective is not automatically a factual error. If the underlying facts are correct but the framing is disputed, TAP may clarify the language or add context without describing that as a correction.
